500 g spaghetti cooked as per packet
3 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic crushed
1 large onion finely chopped
1 small carrot grated
500 g mince
1 good pinch rosemary
400 g tin tomatoes
1 teaspoon sugar
2 cups beef stock
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon cornflour mixed with 2 teaspoons of water
Prepare the Spaghetti as per the cooking instructions on the packet.
Melt butter, add garlic, onion, and carrot, and cook for 4 minutes.
Add mince and rosemary and cook for a further 10 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, sugar, stock, and simmer for 30 minutes.
Season and thicken with the cornflour and water.
