Glazed Chicken

2 teaspoons of crushed ginger.

2 cloves garlic

¼ cup soy sauce

8 chicken thigh fillets

1 tablespoon golden syrup

2 tablespoons olive oil

Combine the ginger, garlic and 1 tablespoon of the soya sauce in a shallow glass bowl.

Add the chicken turn to coat.

Whisk the remaining soya sauce and golden syrup in a small bowl.

Heat oil in a frying pan over moderate heat.

Cook and turn chicken, brushing with the golden syrup mixture for 5 minutes each side or until browned and cooked.
